The Meadows Course at The Greenbrier opened in 1911 as a nine-hole course called Lakeside, was redesigned by Seth Raynor in 1923, and was expanded to 18 holes by Dick Wilson in 1962. Bob Cupp redesigned it again in 1999, and it underwent a full restoration after a 2016 flood, reopening in 2017.
