The Greenbrier Course at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia was designed by Seth Raynor and opened in 1924, then redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1977. It is the only resort course to have hosted both the Ryder Cup (1979) and the Solheim Cup (1994), and was the site of Sam Snead's competitive round of 59 in 1959.
