Royal New Kent Golf Club in Providence Forge was designed by Mike Strantz and opened in 1997 as a tribute to Irish links golf, drawing on Royal County Down and Ballybunion for inspiration. It made Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Courses list and was restored after a 2018 change in ownership.
