Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa opened in 1936, designed by Perry Maxwell on land donated by oilman Waite Phillips. It has hosted three U.S. Opens and five PGA Championships, more PGAs than any other course, most recently the 2022 PGA won by Justin Thomas.
