Atlantic Pines was designed by Brian Silva and opened in 2008 as a deliberate homage to the golden age styles of C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor, reworking their classic template holes in a modern setting. In its first year the course was ranked one of the top 10 public courses in America by Golf Magazine, and it has held a place among the region's top-ranked courses since.
