Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois was founded in 1892 and designed by C.B. Macdonald, and was one of the five founding clubs of the USGA in 1894. It has hosted three U.S. Opens (1897, 1900, 1911), four U.S. Amateurs, and two Walker Cups (1928, 2005).
