Pete Dye designed the Stadium Course at PGA West in La Quinta, styled after Scottish links and conceived as a successor to his TPC Sawgrass. It hosted the Skins Game from 1986 to 1991 and has been a PGA Tour rotation site for the American Express (formerly the Bob Hope Classic/Desert Classic) since 2016.
