Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin was designed by Pete and Alice Dye and opened in 1998 on the former site of an abandoned airfield along Lake Michigan. The Straits Course has hosted the PGA Championship in 2004, 2010 and 2015, plus the 2021 Ryder Cup.
