SentryWorld was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr and opened in 1982, then closed in 2013 for a renovation before reopening. The course has hosted USGA championships, including the 2023 US Senior Open, won by Bernhard Langer, and is scheduled to host the 2028 US Senior Women's Open and the 2034 US Senior Open.
