Golf at Basin Harbor traces to 1916, when the resort's second-generation host A.P. Beach first laid out a course on the property. Scottish professional Alex Campbell expanded it to nine holes in 1927, and it grew to a full 18 holes in 1955. Architect Geoffrey Cornish renovated the course in 1980, and in 2026 the resort entered a management partnership with Milne Golf for the course's operation.
