Memorial Park Golf Course, a municipal course in Houston, was originally designed by John Bredemus and opened in 1936 on the site of a 1912 nine-hole course. It hosted the PGA Tour's Houston Open fourteen times between 1947 and 1963, and the tour returned in 2021 after a course renovation.
