🏛 Designed by Joseph S. Finger (1970)
Golfcrest Country Club was established in 1926 by developer Earl Gammage on 117 acres in southeast Houston, and in 1932 it briefly installed floodlights across its front nine for night golf before discontinuing the experiment. After industrial development encroached on the site, the club relocated to 200 acres in Pearland in 1971 with a new course designed by Joseph S. Finger. Its Four-Ball Tournament, established in 1951, has drawn regional players including Homer Blancas, Keith Fergus and Bill Rogers.
