The Iron Forge Course at Penn National Golf Club opened in 1997, designed by Bill Love. Unlike the club's tree-lined Founders Course it is nearly treeless and open, with views across surrounding farmland, and a preserved early-1800s limestone kiln stands on the property behind the 9th green.
