Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio was designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1916. Bobby Jones won the 1926 U.S. Open there, the club also hosted the 1931 Ryder Cup and 1950 PGA Championship, and Jack Nicklaus learned to play golf on the course in the early 1950s.
