Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton opened in 2006, co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Doak on land beside Great Peconic Bay near National Golf Links and Shinnecock Hills. It hosted the 2013 U.S. Women's Open, the first time that championship was played on Long Island.
