Colonie Golf & Country Club was originally built in 1915 at a site in Albany where Colonie Center now stands, at the corner of Wolf Road and Central Avenue. The club moved to its current Voorheesville location in 1963, where Geoffrey Cornish designed the private course. Today the club also has indoor golf simulators alongside five Har-Tru tennis courts and two pools.
