Bethpage Black is a municipal course at Bethpage State Park on Long Island, designed primarily by Joseph H. Burbeck with input from A. W. Tillinghast and opened in 1936; Rees Jones renovated it in 2015. It has hosted the U.S. Open in 2002 and 2009, the 2019 PGA Championship, and the 2025 Ryder Cup, and was the first publicly owned course to host a U.S. Open.
