Heritage Hills Golf Course was designed by Phelps and Benz and opened in 1981 as one of the first links-style layouts built in Nebraska. Golf Digest named it one of the Best 75 Golf Courses in 1984, and a 2013 renovation lengthened the back tees past 7,100 yards, added forward tees, and installed more than 4,000 feet of concrete cart paths. It hosts the annual John Mullen Community Hospital Pro-Am along with state NGA, NWAGA and NJGA junior events.
