The White Course at Dismal River Club near Mullen was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2006, routed through the Sand Hills near Big Horseshoe Hill along the Dismal River. Nicklaus has said the layout required less earth-moving than almost any other course in his portfolio.
