🏛 Designed by Arnold Palmer
Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh is the only collegiate golf course in the world designed by Arnold Palmer, with NC State alumni Erik Larsen and Brandon Johnson on the design team. It serves as home to the NC State men's and women's golf teams and doubles as a research lab for the university's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. A 2026 renovation rebuilt the second hole to improve routing and pace of play and converted the greens to ultra dwarf bermudagrass.
