Ozarks National Golf Course
Hollister, MO
Ozarks National Golf Course is a resort 18-hole, par-71 golf course in Hollister, Missouri, playing 7,036 yards with a course rating of 73.9 and slope of 131. It is ranked #46 on Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Public Courses (2025-26).
🏛 Designed by Coore & Crenshaw (2019)
Ozarks National was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw for Johnny Morris, with site walks beginning in 2015 and the course built in stages through 2019, when an 1800s log cabin brought in from Minnesota was assembled as the clubhouse. The routing climbs Ozark ridge terrain with elevation changes that make wind a constant factor, and a restored stone house over 100 years old is visible from holes 5 and 16. Phil Mickelson set the course record while winning a PGA Tour Champions event there just weeks after turning 50.
