TPC River Highlands opened in 1928 as Edgewood Country Club, was redesigned by Pete Dye in 1984 when the PGA Tour purchased it, and was remodeled again in 1989 by Bobby Weed with input from tour pros Howard Twitty and Roger Maltbie. It has hosted the Travelers Championship (formerly the Greater Hartford Open and Buick Championship) since 1984; Jim Furyk shot the lowest single round in PGA Tour history there, a 58, in 2016.
