The Broadmoor's East Course in Colorado Springs opened in 1918 with nine holes by Donald Ross, joined in 1952 by a second nine designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. Jones returned in 1964 to design the resort's West Course, combining new holes with a redesign of Ross's remaining originals.
