Spyglass Hill Golf Course on California's Monterey Peninsula was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1966. Owned by the Pebble Beach Company, it has been part of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am rotation since 1967 and was originally named Pebble Beach Pines before being renamed for a setting in the novel Treasure Island.
