The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles opened in 1926, designed by George C. Thomas Jr. and William P. Bell. A private club, it has hosted three major championships including the 1948 U.S. Open, and hosts the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational.
