El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, California hosted the Los Angeles Open in 1927, its only appearance there; Robert Trent Jones Sr. later designed the current course in 1957, which Rees Jones redesigned in 2021. The club also served as temporary host of the JM Eagle LA Championship in 2025 while Wilshire Country Club underwent restoration.
