The Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1986. It has hosted the PGA Tour's Phoenix Open (now the WM Phoenix Open) since 1987, and its par-3 16th hole, fully enclosed by grandstands, is known for the tour's loudest crowds.
