The Country Club of Little Rock was founded in 1902 on a hilltop bluff in the Pulaski Heights neighborhood, with views back toward downtown. Building the club required a new streetcar route and road up the hill, and the club and the surrounding neighborhood grew together. The club says it is among the oldest country clubs west of the Mississippi River.
