Cortez Golf Club in Hot Springs Village opened in 1977 on a design by Ault, Clark and Associates. The par-72 course winds through rolling Ouachita hills lined with hickory, oak and pine, with water hazards and elevation changes. The 425-yard par-4 10th and the par-3 17th, which has a mountain peak backdrop, are the holes the club singles out. It has five sets of tees and a full practice area.
