Ross Bridge opened in April 2005 in Hoover as the eleventh site on Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. on 310 acres and considered one of the Trail's longest courses. It hosted the PGA Tour Champions' Regions Charity Classic from 2006 through 2010.
