Settlers Bay routes through wooded areas and wetlands with views toward the mountains and Cook Inlet, and its timber-framed clubhouse houses the Albatross Restaurant. The course is built alongside the Fairway Estates residential community, described as the only residential golf development of its kind in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. Beyond regular play it hosts tournaments, leagues and weddings, and has won Best of the Valley honors most years since 2018.
